August 14, 2021, L.I.T.E. (Lifting Individuals Through Education) provided 150 families in Monrovia, Liberia with critical PPE supplies. According to the Liberian Ministry of Health, the deadly Delta variant of Covid-19 caused Liberian cases to go from 90+ cases a week to 1000+ cases a week from May to August of this year. Liberia has a poor medical infrastructure and little to no emergency medical resources. L.I.T.E. was able to provide large buckets with masks, sanitizer, chlorine, and 5 cups of rice to three communities throughout Central Monrovia.
