At L.I.T.E. (Lifting Individuals Through Education), we believe education is one of the most powerful tools available to break cycles of poverty, expand opportunities, and transform generations.
This scholarship season, we are proud to announce that we awarded five outstanding scholars with $1,000 scholarships each, investing a total of $5,000 into the futures of deserving students. These young leaders represent the promise, talent, and potential that exist throughout our communities, and we are honored to play a small role in helping them achieve their dreams.
What makes this milestone even more meaningful is that it builds upon more than a decade of impact. Over the past ten years, L.I.T.E. has awarded more than $50,000 in scholarships to students pursuing higher education. Each scholarship represents more than financial assistance. It represents hope. It represents opportunity. It represents a community saying, “We believe in you.”
For many students in the African diaspora, the journey to higher education can be filled with obstacles. Rising tuition costs, limited resources, and financial hardship often stand between talented students and their dreams. Our mission is simple: remove barriers and create access.
