This International Women’s Day, LITE embraced the theme “Invest in a woman – accelerate progress.” A powerful workshop led by Sara Buchanan, from Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated Liberia Chapter and Orange Mobile executive, inspired 100 women. Sara emphasized the significance of self and mutual investment, resource leverage, and the strength in seeking support.
Young girls participated in the workshop by reminding adult women how powerful and amazing they are through a touching poem. Several women gave their testimony on how they continue to invest in the lives of others through God’s strength.
As a token of support, each woman received a generous 25kg bag of rice for their families and a heartwarming hot meal to take home. Thanks to the incredible support from donors worldwide, LITE continues its mission, year after year, to uplift market women and their children. 🌐
