This year on International Women’s Day, L.I.T.E. (Lifting Individuals Through Education) honored the strength, spirit, and success of Liberia’s market women through an empowering workshop and a celebration to remember.
We were blessed to have Abla Gadegbeku Williams as our guest workshop leader. With energy, authenticity, and wisdom, she inspired every woman present to look into the mirror and see the power and potential within. Her message reminded participants that greatness begins when women believe in themselves and their capacity to transform their families, communities, and nation.
In keeping with this year’s theme of accelerating action and success, L.I.T.E. hosted its inaugural Market Women Awards Ceremony, celebrating 100 incredible women whose daily dedication keeps Liberia’s marketplaces thriving.
